when you print out the Factor Table (see p. 7).  It can be left as is, or modified to

be any string of alphanumeric characters up to 40 characters in length.

S - If the character in the Type field is an S, a Sketch Vector Line will be printed.

Note: As with Addition Codes, printing Sketch Vector Lines can get tricky, and

entails concepts considered beyond the scope of this manual.  If it becomes

necessary to make drastic changes to this type of item, it may be necessary to

refer to the Univers Users Manual for a more thorough explanation of printing

Sketch Vector Lines.

T -

If the character in the Type field is a T, the resulting value from a pre-defined

Temporary Calculation, or T-calc will be printed.  For an explanation of

Temporary Calculations, refer to the section on Defining T-Calcs in a Report

The last column in the report format is labeled

Constant, or Card-Item.

What is displayed here on each line depends on the

value in the Type field.

If the Type is A, the specified Addition Code line number and identification code

will be displayed.

If the Type is C, the Constant will be displayed, exactly as it will print out.

If the Type is D, the Card Type, Item Number and Format of the specified data

will be displayed.

If the Type is E, any text entered along with the Eject definition will be displayed.

If the Type is F, the Card Type and Item Number of the factor will be displayed.

If the Type is S, the sketch vector line number will be displayed.

If the Type is T, the number of the calculated factor (T-Calc) will be displayed.

For the sake of this example, let’s say we want to change Line 3, which reads:

CLEARFIELD, PA – PROPERTY RECORD CARD

To display like this instead:
